The First Diocesan General Assembly of the Diocese of Canada will be held at St. Gregorios Indian Orthodox Church (Norval Parish) at 10:00 a.m.
The General Assembly will be presided over by H.G. Zachariah Mar Nicholovos Metropolitan, our Assistant Metropolitan. This historic gathering marks the first assembly since the establishment of the Diocese of Canada on 1 November 2024.
During the Assembly, council members and clergy representatives will be elected, laying the foundation for the administrative and spiritual life of the Diocese. The participation of clergy and lay delegates from across Canada reflects the unity and shared mission of our parishes, missions, and congregations in serving the Orthodox faithful.
