Diocesan Council
Every Diocese in the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church elects a Diocesan Council to administer the Diocesan activities and financial affairs of the Diocese. The Council consists of two priests and four lay members elected by the Diocesan Assembly, along with the Diocesan Secretary. The term of office for members is five years.

The Secretary of the Diocesan Assembly shall serve as the Secretary of the Council. The Diocesan Metropolitan convenes and presides over Council meetings.
